SCADpro x Deloitte DS&J: The Green Room Experience
In collaboration with SCADpro, our team reimagined Deloitte’s Defense, Security, and Justice (DS&J) recruitment process to increase its presence in federal spaces. Our mission was to refine Deloitte DS&J’s practices by tapping into public service motivations, attracting active and passive candidates. Deliverables included three branded content videos, a targeted social media marketing campaign, and an interactive “Green Room” escape room experience. Over a ten-week period, our team of 12 designers and 2 professors aimed to redefine recruitment and inspire the next generation of public servants.

My Role
As the creative director, I contributed to the early stages of user experience research and led the brainstorming and creative ideation for the future of Deloitte DS&J’s recruitment. After conducting anonymous interviews, analyzing nearly 1,000 data points, and researching marketing and recruitment trends, we solidified our final ideas.
Near the project’s conclusion, I directed the visual and creative development of our branded content videos and designed the puzzles and layout for the “Green Room Experience.” This condensed version of the “Green Room Experience” served as the opener to our final presentation, which was co-organized and presented by me.
The Green Room Experience
This escape room was more than just an interactive element in our final presentation; it symbolized the challenges and opportunities in Deloitte DS&J’s recruitment process. Our research revealed how team-based activities could boost morale, improve soft skills, and give insights into worker behavior. This means that collaborative activities like an escape room can serve as catalysts for employee development and healthier work culture.
After attending physical and digital escape rooms with my team, I designed the puzzles with these goals in mind, incorporating hybrid spaces to reflect the evolving nature of our current work environments.
Final Branded Content Videos
Due to their role in social media advertising, the branded content videos prioritized a square format.
The branded content videos were designed and rendered by Alex Pugach and Riley Carson. The
narrations for the videos (and the illustrations on this page) were done by Audrey Keim.
